Output Settings

The Output settings area provides controls over the printed outputs and results display for each of the areas within the Dynamic module.

The layout of the Output Settings tab is shown below. The results panel on the right are the results from the Natural Frequency tab, which was the area being viewed prior to entering the Output Settings tab.

The results are displayed for the previous tab prior to entering the Output Settings tab. In the example above, the results were taken from the Natural Frequency tab.

The Output Settings tab is split into three areas, each of which controls three different forms of output. The Selected Output area controls the results data that is printed out or exported to either Word or Excel. The member forces outputs are controlled using the Filter Member Forces drop downs, while the nodal deflections can be viewed for any Nodal Groups which have been created.

To filter the results, the settings selection is made in the Output Settings tab and then the required analysis is run.
