File
The File menu provides options for creating, opening and saving connection design files, which can consist of single or multiple design briefs. The layout of the File menu is shown below.

New
Opens a new file. This option will open a new window with the option to create the filename and the location to save the file. With the filename entered and location selected, clicking on
icon will create and open a new file with no connection briefs created. The Connections Default Settings pop-up window will also open allowing the global connection settings to be modified as required. Once the default settings have been input, the Add New Connection Selector pop up window will appear allowing the first connection type to be selected.
Opens an existing file. Selecting the Open icon will bring up the File Selector window, shown below.

From the File selector, the file location can be selected form the left-hand column and the relevant file name selected in the central column. If the file has been opened previously in MS2019, an image from the last viewed design brief will appear in the right hand column. Click on
to open the file.
From the Open menu File Selector, it is also possible to create a new file by selecting the
icon.
The Save option will save the current file using the same file name given to the file when it was created and saving in the same location as the original file.
The Save As option allows a file to be saved with a different filename and/or in a different file location. When this option is selected the Save As window will open. The file location can be selected from the left hand column and the file name added to the 'File Name' input. Once done, click on the
.
When doing a save-as, after saving the file being worked on is the save-as file, that s, the file worked on is not the original file. Therefore, if the original file is to be continued to be worked on, it is necessary to go to File>Open and select the original file location and name.
Reloads the last saved version of the file.
Exits the connection module. If changes have been made to the file since the last save, the software will ask if the Connection file is to be saved or not. After selecting the required option, this option exits back to the front screen of Masterseries.
