Toolbar Options

You can use the icons on the toolbars in timber design to add briefs, auto design the members and print out the calcs.

These toolbars appear under the graphics screen.

Add/delete briefs icons & Apply icons:-

          Save the current file.

          Delete the current brief.

          Copy the current brief.

          Paste to new design brief.

          Add a new design brief.

          Search for the next brief which has been applied previously to the selected member.

          Apply this brief to the selected member.

          Add new design brief by copying current design brief and apply to selected member.

Design icons including automatic design:-

          Auto design the current member.

          Auto design all the timber members.

          Re-analyse the frame (MasterFrame linked file).

          Scan the briefs for failures.

          Sort sections by width b.

          Sort sections by height h.

          Sort sections by area A (weight).

Printing and exporting icons:-

          Project title and job references.

          Print current brief.

          Print all briefs.

          Export current brief to Word.

          Export all briefs to Word.
