Canopies

You can define canopies for both sides of the structure or one side only. You can have both sides identical to one another, or define them separately. Note that the Global Symmetry and In-Bay Symmetry are overridden by the symmetry buttons in the Canopy tab.

Side canopies are easily added, again by specifying the geometry, section size, loading, haunch geometry and the start and end distances along the side of the structure, eg:- 18m to 30m would give a canopy starting at 18m along the side of the frames, (from the front gable end) to 30m.
