Non-Simplified Interface Top Menus

If you wish to make changes outside the scope of the Simplified Interface editing facilities, then you can go into the normal MasterPort editing facilities by going to the General tab and switching off the Use Simplified MasterPort Interface button. The data will be saved and you can then edit the frame further if required.

Important: Any editing or additional information added now to the frame would be lost if you go back into the Simplified MasterPort interface again.

Also, by switching off the Simplified Interface you will lose the management aspect of the program, for example, in the steel design, you will have to apply design briefs manually. Therefore it is recommended that this interface is switched off only when absolutely necessary.

If you do wish to use the additional editing facilities normally associated with MasterFrame then see the MasterFrame manual for the top menus editing descriptions. This manual may be found in the C:\Program Files\MasterSeries 2019\Doc\Manuals directory as '3 MasterFrame.PDF'.

When you come out of the Simplified Interface, the following menus are available.

MasterPort Editor menu

Note that there is a considerably larger Editor menu when out of the Simplified Interface than when in it.

MasterPort Post-analysis menu

The post analysis menu is the same whether in the simplified Interface or not.
